Leah Fanning

Artist & Founder of Natural Earth Paint

Leah Fanning lives in Oregon and has exhibited her abstract and portraiture work in galleries throughout the states for the past twenty years. She grew up in
New Orleans and then lived on the east coast for many years as a professional ballet dancer while also studying painting at various universities.

She later graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art and University of Georgia in Cortona, Italy and also at many artist residencies throughout the country. Leah has been commissioned for over 600 portraits and murals over the past fifteen years, and her portraiture style is a unique expressionistic style.

Her large-scale abstract work is nature inspired with flowing organic forms and are made with all natural materials. In 2011 she founded, Natural Earth Paint, which creates natural, non-toxic art supplies for professional artists through children. She lives with her wild and wonderful 16 year old son, Django.
