I'm Latifa, an Algerian illustrator and surface designer who loves color!

My design studio is Jasmine Blooms Designs. I'm an architect who found love in the world of patterns—creating repeats is a very meditative process. My inspiration comes from all that nature has to offer: botanicals, animals, and spotting cool textures while taking a walk is what brings me joy.

I love to incorporate aspects of storytelling into my work and license it to multiple industries, from textiles to wallpaper and tech accessories. My style is a combination of delicate florals, playful animals, and a sprinkle of color to bring joy and sweetness.

My favorite way of drawing is digitally. I love spending time building my motifs and patterns inside Procreate and unwinding from time to time with a watercolor painting.

In addition to licensing my work, I have developed a library of digital products specifically designed for surface designers, which I sell through my online shop. I'm passionate about helping other artists and providing solutions to ease their surface design journey and art-making process.
