Here is a list of the supplies:

  • Recycled paper (magazines, junk mail, scrap paper, old book pages, etc.)
  • Cereal or cookie box
  • Additional recycled paper for junk journal pages
  • Decorative paper or printable scrapbook paper
  • Scissors or craft knife
  • Pencil or pen
  • Ruler
  • Glue stick or craft glue
  • Yarn, embroidery floss, ribbon, or twine (for tassels or book binding)
  • Needle
  • Thread or embroidery floss (for binding the junk journal)
  • Hole punch (optional)
  • Decorative stamp-shaped paper punch (optional)
  • Laminator and laminating sheets (optional) or clear packing tape as an alternative for laminating bookmarks
  • Washi tape, stickers, markers or pens (optional)

Note: These projects are flexible! Feel free to substitute materials with whatever recycled paper and crafting supplies you already have!
